OFFSET PRINT | BLACK
For several reasons the black resulting from the combination of the three primary pigments aren’t pure and needs to add black ink into the system. Others reasons are:
• Use 100% cyan; because magenta and yellow produce an ink layer that take much time to dry and can tear the sheet if is very thin.
• Texts are printed generally in black having much detail which will be impossible to reproduce with the overprint of the three inks.
• The black pigment is the more cheap.
The graphic Industry CMYK uses a mixture of inks on paper and the other CMYK used in the computer systems is only a variation of the RGB.
The spectrum of the colors CMYK (graphic) is much smaller that RGB. This means that not all colors see on the monitor can be printed. |
